How important are well known amenities brands to the Hotel guests?
Guests like to know that the shampoos, conditioners and bath gels are made from quality ingredients, and well known brands offer this reassurance. At King of Cotton we are working on collaborations with new suppliers in France Italy and further afield, and are constantly adding new suppliers of Hotel amenities, much like our new Miller Harris collection, whilst keeping a close eye on the value that is so important to our customers.
How important is the plastic waste generated by the packaging of amenities to Hotels?
We encourage the use of 300 ml pump bottles that can be refilled from our 5 litre containers which limits plastic waste. We use recyclable plastic for all our miniatures and do our utmost to encourage good practice and minimum waste.
How did King of Cotton become suppliers of bathroom amenities when their strength lies in textiles?
Over the years it became obvious that bathroom luxury is associated not only with towels, robes and bathmats, but also the ranges of bath gels, shampoos and the aromas and that they give to the Hotel bathrooms. We developed a range of different amenities with the help of established manufacturers and associated spas and Hotels, and now offer organic ranges, and other formulas that include sea salt and neroli wood for that added touch of luxury. In short, our Hotel customers thought it logical to have the supply of amenities coming together with the bathroom textiles, so we decided to take this feedback on board and so began our amenity ranges.
